English - The Real Deal

非常期待的这本电影终于在美国发行了（目前只限于NYC和LA地区）。没错，电影的名字就叫Fuck，宣传语是“The movie that dare not speak its name”。官方网站的网址是fourletterfilm.com，已经够含蓄的了，而有些地方干脆就用XXXX这个名字，绝了。这本记录片探讨了fuck这个独一无二的单词对社会、政治、历史、人文、艺术等各方面无所不在的影响。

摘自导演兼制作人Steve Anderson的采访：

Q: Why the F-word? What made you want to do this project?

A: I was always intrigued with the word as a writer because it’s a word that you can use at any time in so many different ways. That’s really where it first started: it’s a verb, it’s a noun, and it’s an adjective. I’ve always loved words and I was always amused by the fact that the F-word can be used in so many different ways in so many different contexts.

As I thought about it more, it really became clear to me that in the broader debate of Freedom of Speech and the First Amendment, it is a word that is often right at the heart of this debate. The more I thought about it, I thought it would be great to look at the word in all aspects of popular culture. Some people are offended by the word, but that’s the power this word has. Some people are intrigued by it, yet other people are offended by it and don’t want to hear anything about it. “Fuck” is really a word that polarizes public opinion.

看了不少影评，都给了很高的评价，让我更迫不及待想一睹Fuck的风采（How wrong does this sentence sound? ）。不过想起买票的情景，忍不住要偷笑：

Two tickets to Fuck, please. (What? You need tickets to do that???)

末了，对官方网站提个意见。既然是官网，总该专业点吧。看看这段最关键的电影简介，出现这样的错误真是该打：
