Yo, sup, dear author, I got the following question for a long time. seems quite often when I coma across the phrase “out there” in American English. Can you tell me its exact meaning?

“Out there” is usually redundant. It can be left out without changing the meaning of the original sentence. (e.g. I know many people out there hate my guts. = I know many people hate my guts.)
If it’s not redudant, it just means something or someone exists. (e.g. The truth is out there.)
